The Ahmednagar fort was built by Ahmed Nizam when they won against Jahangir Khan.
The place was then known as Victory Of Garden where to protect it, Ahmed Nizam built a palace and a garden named as Bagh Nizam.
Surrounding the Bagh, Nizam made a wall which is known as Bhuikot Fort.
In the prison of the fort, many freedom fighters like Jawaharlal Nehru, Bhagat Singh, etc where kept during 1942 to 1945.
Must this place as it also houses a small museum dedicated to the freedom fighters.
