Growel's 101 is India's first known theme-based mall, with a Venetian (relating to Venice) design featuring Neo-Classical architecture to create a European feel.

The 750,000 sq foot mall and has undergone a remarkable evolution since it opened as a kind of local neighborhood mall in 2005 with a Big Bazaar hypermarket and a big multiplex cinema.

The second phase was launched in 2010 with addition of food court and beverage outlets, and some famous retail stores including Pantaloons, Reliance Trends, AND, Global Desi, Nike and Puma.

The mall further refined its offerings in 2015 by introducing more premium and international brands such as Central, Chroma, and Starbucks.
