The Name of the temple is “Kalaram Mandir” which actually when translated in english means “Black Lord Ram Temple”.

This temple was funded Sardar Rangarao Odhekar and it is said that Odhekar had one dream in which a blacked colored statue of Lord Ram was in Godavari river.

After which Odhekar took the statue and built the temple.
