The Jogeshwari Caves are one of the most oldest Buddhist cavern sanctuaries models situated in the Mumbai.
This caverns go back to 520 to 550 CE. The caverns are situated off the Western Express Highway, and are encompassed by infringements.
These caverns has a place with the last phase of the Mahayana Buddhist engineering, which later taken by Hindus.
As indicated by student of history and researcher Walter Spink, Jogeshwari is the soonest real cavern sanctuary in India and (as far as all out length) "the biggest".
