The Global Vipassana Pagoda is a huge Meditation Dome Hall with a capacity to seat for around 8,000 meditators near Gorai, North-west of Mumbai, India.
It’s the largest known meditation hall with in the world. The Pagoda was inaugurated by Pratibha Patil the President of India on 8th February 2009.
It is built on the donated land on a peninsula between Gorai beach and the Arabian Sea.
The pagoda is setted up to serve as a monument of peace and harmony.
