The Gateway of India is a Indo-Saracenic monument.
This monument was made under the supervision of George Wittet in mid the twentieth century in Mumbai.
The landmark was raised to remember the arrival of King George V and Queen Mary at Apollo Bunder on their visit to India in 1911
